"Rolling Stone" released their ranking of the 100 Greatest Guitar Solos of All Time.

1.  "Purple Rain",  Prince (1984)

2.  "Machine Gun",  Jimi Hendrix (1970)

3.  "Hotel California",  Eagles (1976)

4.  "Comfortably Numb",  Pink Floyd (1979)

5.  "Eruption",  Van Halen (1978)


The Eagles added another 6 shows to their residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas.  2 of the new shows are in September, the rest are in November.

Dolly Parton canceled her Las Vegas residency for health reasons. For one thing, she’s got kidney stones, but before you panic, her doctors have assured her that "everything she has" is treatable.  It’s just that the meds she’s taking make her too lightheaded to perform. 

The Pussycat Dolls canceled all but one date on their North American reunion tour.  They'll still perform at the Outloud Music Festival in June. 

There was a mini-Spice Girls reunion, when Mel B joined Mel C onstage for "Spice Up Your Life".  

Justin Bieber's Spotify streams jumped 1,800% after Coachella.
