Blue Oyster Cult singer Eric Bloom is going to miss a couple of shows.  He recently underwent an undisclosed surgical procedure, and he needs more time to recover. 

Guitarist Robin Trower announced a 19-date US tour this fall.  One of the shows will be in PA.  That’s September 25th at Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe.  Trower also announced that he’s completed work on a new album–the follow up to last year’s “Come and Find Me”--but so far he hasn’t given a release date. 

The Foo Fighters did their first-ever NPR Tiny Desk Concert.   

 Jack Osbourne says a biopic about Ozzy and Sharon is coming in 2028. 

Simon Le Bon says that Duran Duran was offered a spot to play the Glastonbury festival, but that spot was at 3PM.  Le Bon says Duran Duran shouldn't be below anybody on a lineup, and they will play only when they're asked to headline. 

Michael Jackson's ‘’Thriller’’ album is No. #1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It sold 62,000 copies last week because of the ‘Michael’ biopic.
