The Smashing Pumpkins announced a fall tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1995 double album, “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness”. They’re calling it the “Rats in a Cage” tour, and it hits Pittsburgh on October 10th.
On the season 51 finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend, Will Ferrell was the host, but when he was introduced, his doppelganger, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, came out the door instead, dressed in the same suit as Ferrell. Smith also played with the night’s musical guest, Sir Paul McCartney.
Dennis Locorriere, lead singer, guitarist, and founding member of Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, died on Saturday after battling kidney disease. He was 76.
Kiefer Sutherland just announced he's cancelling the U.S. leg of his country tour due to low ticket sales.
Other cancellation news: Kanye West's show in New Delhi, India has been canceled, but not because of the Nazi stuff. There's some socio-political unrest in the region.
